Representatives of the Academy took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference BSMU-2025 «Medical Simulation – A Look into the Future»
06-03-2025On February 20, representatives of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Dmytro Antonkov and Rostyslav Zatsepilin, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference BSMU-2025 "Medical Simulation – A Look into the Future". The event was organized by Bukovinian State Medical University, the coordinator of the European Union Erasmus+ project «SimS – Simulation Medicine and Scenario-Based Training in Emergency Medical Services», in which the Academy actively participates.
The conference became an important platform for discussing modern trends and achievements in the implementation of innovative educational technologies for higher medical education in Ukraine.
The Erasmus+ program is one of the key tools for reforming higher education in Ukraine, fostering academic mobility, creating innovative programs and methodologies, as well as optimizing educational processes.
As part of the conference, a separate section meeting took place, dedicated to the results of the SimS project implementation. The achievements, challenges, development prospects, and expected results were discussed.
Representatives of the Academy gave a presentation on the topic «Simulation Training – An Innovative Method for Teaching Pre-Medical Training». The presentation emphasized the importance of implementing modern approaches into training law enforcement officers, particularly simulation-based training using the OpenLabyrinth platform. This approach allows future Ukrainian law enforcement professionals to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in line with European Union standards, which is extremely relevant in the context of Ukraine's European integration.
The National Academy of Internal Affairs will continue its active cooperation with EU partners, improving educational programs and professional training in pre-medical assistance, and also supports further participation in Erasmus+ grant projects aimed at modernizing and internationalizing higher education.
