Presentation of instruction films for law enforcement on HIV/AIDS risk awareness
05-10-2016With the support of USAID and UNODC on September 29th NAIA organized a special presentation of instruction films aimed to raise the HIV/AIDS risk awareness among law enforcement involved in direct interaction with socially vulnerable groups.
We were glad to meet the representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare Alla Shcherbynska and Volodymyr Yaryi, Deputy Head of Kyiv Patrol Police Department Dmytro Yevdokymov, UNODC Project Coordinator Nadiia Prokopenko, members of various NGOs and NAIA staff.
First Deputy Rector Stanislav Husariev expressed his gratitude to our partners for opportunity to cooperate in this crucial area and support the promotion of healthy lifestyle and personal safety awareness for police officers.
Nadiia Prokopenko provided the participants with practical examples and statistics proving the importance of such materials.
After demonstration participants discussed the perspective of using the films as supplementary materials in the training programs.
