Polish experience for Ukrainian law enforcement training
05-10-2016With the support of EU Advisory Mission in Ukraine Ukrainian delegation (representatives of NAIA, National Police and MoI of Ukraine) got an invitation to familiarize with the experience of Polish colleagues during the official visit. Delegates were tasked to collect the best European practices of educational system functioning and staff management.
Delegation was provided with information about Polish National Police activities, selection procedures and opportunities for career building. Moreover, Ukrainian delegates visited Police Training Center and were informed about basic and special training course for police staff, Higher School of Police in Szczytno, shooting range, testing track, forensic labs and unique International Training Center for Clandestine Laboratories Combating.
Ukrainian representatives had a chance to participate in workshops on crisis management for police.
Deputy Rector Serhii Cherniavskyi noted that such meetings are very important for further development of Ukrainian law enforcement system. «Without any doubt, this event contributes a lot to the Academy as well because foreign experience stimulates innovative transformations in terms of training programs and curricula planning».
Authorities of Higher School of Police in Szczytno assured Ukrainian colleagues in maintenance of cooperation between our educational establishments and provision of further support for Ukrainian police.
